ROBERT L. CUTTS CDR., U.S. Navy (Ret.)
Suddenly, on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. Dearly beloved husband of Barbara B. Cutts; devoted father of Caroline Louise Cutts and Sandra Lynn Cutts (Cory) Andrews; loving grandfather of Savannah Grace Andrews; brother of Lois Cutts and brother-in-law of Ellen P. Cutts. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking) Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service and interment at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Robert L. Cutts may be made to the United States Naval Academy Foundation, 291 Wood Road, Annapolis, MD 21402 (Attn: Carolyn McCollum)www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Dearest Bob,
You will be dearly missed. I reflect on those wonderful jokes you used to tell; your sincerity about everyone you meet and life itself. I will definitely remember you till my last day on this earth. When I think of you, I still see your smile, remember that you were a dark suit guy and always looking the BEST!!! I will miss you alot. Rest is Perfect peace.

Barbara we were so sad to learn of Bob's sudden death. He had worked so hard to regain his health. Our love goes out to you and the girls. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Bob is no longer suffering.

Caroline--my deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your dear father. He could not have asked for a more loving and devoted daughter during the last several difficult years, and I know he was comforted by you, your mom & Sandy when he needed you most. Condolences to the family.
I knew Bob for many years, rode in his carpool in middle 60's to FCC with him. However, had not seen him for many years.

We are sad to learn of Bob's passing. In the many years that both Ray and I worked with him, he was ever dedicated to doing what was right and honorable in his job functions and with his family. He was stern, yet had a sense of humor about life, and he will be remembered as a honest man, with candor, which is a great personality trait. He will be missed.
