On Wednesday, November 9, 2011, of Takoma Park, MD. Beloved husband of the late Marion Brantley Florin; father of Franklin Eric Florin and Suzanne Florin Moran (Joseph). Also survived by nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Interment private. Suzanne and Eric:
I have fond childhood memories of your parents (and you, too!). My mother, Agnes Anderson, is still alive and well and living in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. My father, Elmer, made his transition about 15 years ago. Suzanne, are you still so very beautiful? Eric, do you remember the snipe hunt with Stevie Florin where he and I left you out in the woods one summer night? Uncle Si was furious with us. I lost contact with your folks many years ago--we did exchange Christmas cards for a very long time. I hope their golden years were filled with much joy, good health and warm memories. Suzanne -
I know that you know that you and your family are in my prayers in this very sad and stessful time in your life. May you be comforted by the thought that the burdens and fatigues that accompany the "dark night" of a family member's illness and death do eventually lift with the dawning of a "new day" in your life. I speak from my own experience when I say, Joy does indeed come in the morning -- and God will hold you in the palm of His hands until such a morning comes.
