Connie, Floyd and Jennifer, I am very sorry for your loss. Uncle Red will be sadly missed. Wrinkle Red was a roll model for me in many ways. I do not think a kinder, enduring and gentler man I have ever known besides him. I will not be able to come down from Canada for the funeral - I am sorry. I do hope to see you all in July. I wish you all the strength and courage to make it through this change in your lives.

You were a kind and gentle man. It was an honor to have meet him. I know where he is now, he is happy and healthy.

Mr. Wilder and his late wife would visit the Magnolia, Texas with their son (Floyd) as they would typically come to our church at the Tomball Assembly of God. A great person to know who lived a exemplify life. Randy and Paula White

Roland was a wonderful man. He was a friend of my parents, esp. my dad, long before I was born so I grew up knowing Roland and Charlotte Wilder. I am thankful that his three children were able to be with him at the end. I know how much he loved his family, and am sure their presence brought him great comfort. Roland fought the good fight through many health adversities, and fought with grace and without complaint. Roland had so many interesting stories and seemed to know a little bit about everything. I know he is home with the LORD now, and at peace, whole again and not suffering. I will miss him and remember him well.
