ROSE LORRAINE SPRUILL (Age 92)
On Tuesday, September 17, 2013 of Kensington, MD. Beloved wife of the late Aubrey Rhodes Spruill; mother of Thomas (Mary Jo) Spruill and Mark (Sandra) Spruill; sister of Edmond Smigocki. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD (Valet Parking), Thursday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 10103 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Friday, September 20 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

God has received in his arms an Angel who will continue her relationships as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, relative, friend, and to all of those whom she has touched with her great generosity and kindness. Mrs. Spruill will also be welcomed and reunited with the love of her life, Mr. Spruill.
Mrs. Spruill is and will always be a beautiful and loving person whom very much loved and cared for her family. She loved to cook and made fabulous meals. She welcomed guests and enjoyed conversations. I am so happy to have known Mrs. Spruil and Mr. Spruill. They are delightful and wonderful people whom anyone would have loved to have known.
The love, the happiness, the closeness, the hugs, the kisses, the special moments, the individual moments, the family gatherings, the vacations, the teachings, the respect, the memories, and the warmth of her heart will always be with all of you. May each of you hold on to her wonderful love and precious memories to keep her alive in your hearts.
May God embrace and love her as you have done here on earth.
My heart and prayers are extended to Tommy and Mary Jo and Mark and Sandy and to all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren, the relatives, and the friends.
May God Bless and embrace you and your family with love and comfort. I truly am very sorry for the loss of your precious Mommy.
