On Wednesday, July 18, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD, originally of Midland, MD. Beloved wife of the late John Henry Bayly, M.D.; mother of Judge John Bayly, Brian Bayly, M.D., Josephine McAuley, Terrence Bayly, Kevin Bayly, Loretta Gallagher, Bridget Zarate, C. Louise Gidez and the late Madelaine Kirlin and Timothy Bayly, M.D.; grandmother of 32; great-grandmother of 18. Dear John - Karen and I are out of town and not able to make it back for the Wake this evening and the Mass tomorrow. Called your house, got the VM and it was full. Called Hoover Fisher for some flowers from the Shanahan Family and was too late.
Think I only met your Mother once in high school when I was at your house. Your Mother must have been a remarkable individual. How proud she must have been of you and each of her other children. If family is everything, and it should be, your Mother showed the way.
Loss of a Mom is a watershed moment. I will find somewhere in the morning to attend Mass to pray for your Mother, you and her wonderfully large family.

Dear John,
David and I want you to know we are thinking of you and your amazing family today.
Your mother was such a warm and friendly woman and i always felt very welcomed in your home.
In recent years we enjoyed seeing her and sitting down in the " Seasons" dining room at Riderwood to chat. She ALWAYS bragged about you!!!
We know you have lovely memories of her and we also know your loving family will all be together celebrating her very good life.
