SAMUEL G. LUCIANO (Age 91)
On Saturday, April 16, 2011, of Leavenworth, KS, formerly of Takoma Park, MD. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor C. Luciano; father of Peter J. Luciano, Ellen McEvoy, Rita Burton, Emily C. Elks and Philip F. Luciano. Also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, New Hampshire & Larch Avenues, Takoma Park, MD, on Wednesday, April 20 from 10:30 to 11 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Entombment St. Mary's Cemetery, Washington, DC. To the Family of Sam Luciano,
I wish to express my deepest sympathy on the passing of Sam. I knew and remember Sam from many years ago when he worked with my Dad, Joe "Mac"
McCrone, in the transformer shop at Pepco. I worked there myself as a summer helper in 1969 and will not forget the many laughs we shared. Dad was very fond of Sam and we spoke of him often. My Dad passed away on 2/3/11, 2-1/2 weeks before his 92nd Birthday. I know that they both are having a few laughs together along with Don Anderson and the others who passed on before them. Emily, I hope you remember me from the Regina High School days when we all would hang-out together. I will never forget Sam and the friendship he shared with my Dad.

Mr. Luciano,
You will always be fondly remembered by me as a kind man, a faithful & obedient Catholic, an honorable Veteran, and a man that was devoted to his family. Thank you so much for being so kind to me and for being a loving Great-Grandfather to my daughters, Vivienne & Emily. We will miss you much!
