On Tuesday, February 1, 2011, of Rockville, MD. Loving husband of Mary Ellis Honigsberg; cherished father of Mary Lynne Simms of Richmond, VA and Jill Honigsberg Apperson of Marshall, VA. Memorial service at Twinbrook Baptist Church, 1001 Twinbrook Parkway, Rockville, MD, on Monday, February 7 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment private. Dear Mzry and family, we're so sorry to hear about Saul's passing. Memories of hunting trips and friendly poker games during deer season in WV are lasting memories for me. Saul's diligent care for my dad in his last days are as well. You and the family have our sympathies during this time. Please know that we are praying for God to comfort you during your time of loss.

Dear Mary, Jill, Lynn, and my brother Joey, I just heard about Saul's passing today from my mother. You have my deepest sympathy, love, concern, and prayers, for God's peace, comfort and guiding presence during this very difficult time in your lives. Saul was an amazing person, and I will miss him a lot. Saul was so warm and genuine, and always a pleasure to be around. If I can be of any help or assistance during this time, please let me know. Mary, Lynne and Jill; I was so sad to hear of Saul's passing. He was a wonderful "neighbor" to have at the cabin. Cherished dinners and night on the deck. Such fond memories and such a wonderful friend and hunting partner to Mike.

John and I are so very sorry to hear that Saul passed away. I will always remember with fondness our visits to West Virginia and coming "up the road" to spend time with you guys. Saul was so wonderful to my father and Dad loved him dearly. I always looked forward to spending time with Saul when he would come up to help my Dad and Dorothy get their finances in order. He touched so many lives and I am so very happy that he touched mine. He will be missed. John and I send prayers as we remember a very special man.

Saul and Mary and their wonderful daughters, Lynne and Jill were like family to us. They have been part of our lives since before our kids were born.
