On Sunday, February 5, 2012, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Smitskamp Virts; father of Randi Virts; brother of William B. Virts. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Graveside service at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD on Friday, February 10, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Inter-Faith Chapel, 3680 South Leisure World Blvd, Silver Spring, MD 20906, The Order of the Eastern Star, District of Columbia, 122 C St., N.W.
