SYLVIA LUNGOCIU (Age 90)
On Monday, November 14, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of Nicholas George Lungociu; mother of Daniel (Marie) Lungociu, Linda (David) Jackson, Rodica (Thomas) Cipu, Cornel Lungociu and Michael (Kimberly) Lungociu; grandmother of Kristen, Laura, Stephanie, Michael, Victoria, Brian, Mark and David. Also survived by six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, November 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church, 5150 Leesburg Pike, Alexandria, VA 22302, on Thursday, November 17 at 11 a.m. Interment Vatra Romaneasca Cemetery, Grass Lake, MI. Mike, my friend who once literally saved my life, I was thinking of you and ran across your mom´s
obituary. I am so sorry to hear this sad news that I know shattered your heart. I lost my own mom just the month before, and still cry over the immeasurable loss. I think about you and our times in Drivers´ Ed. I am so glad to read you have a family. If I could speak to your mom, I would thank her for raising such a great kid that had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor.
You were always such a great, stand-up guy and a good friend. Allen and I are in Vegas now. Please come visit. Life is good here.. miss you..
