While Rick is really a second cousin. I always thought of him as an Uncle. I remember many holidays that he and Pam opened their hearts and their homes to me and my family. He was always very kind and loving to us. I am so glad I got to see him last June when he and Kerry came to visit my Dad. My heart goes out to Pam and his children who will miss him every day. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless Uncle Rick in heaven!

Walter became my brother-in-law when he married my sister Pam in 1969. Over the years, I felt I could drop the "inlaw" and he became the brother I never had.
He was always willing to give of himself and love others through his actions. He was very knowledgable about many things and would not quit til he figured it out.
One of the things he enjoyed was sitting on the front porch and waving to passers by. Now he will get to sit on the heavenly porch and have an eagle's eyeview of the universe. Enjoy the view Rick!
You will be missed immensely but I know God has prepared a special place for your eternity.
