My deepest condolences to Mrs. Cole and Tom. Professor Cole was my Ph.D. (1977) dissertation adviser. He was a great scholar and was very kind to me. And my post-graduation experience with the world of work has made it even more apparent what a uniquely kind and fair person Professor Cole was.
