Not sure what to say?

Multiple years ago, Drake sent me a most caring , honest and forthright letter. Likewise, Drakes dear Aunt Judy Floyd called and independently gave me the same, " in family" advice ( which I took.)
Both are missed and loved.

I knew Drake briefly while at VMI, it is pleasing to see such beautiful scribes about him. Our condolences to his family, he must have been quite the good fellow.

Sometimes a family needs to know that people outside of the family really care about how they are feeling when they lose someone in death. I just want to express my condolences to you for your loss. At the same time, our loving heavenly Father is the "God of all comfort" and he can and will help you through this difficult period because "he cares for you" also.

So sorry for your loss. I had not seen Drake in years, but remember him so very fondly. (I am his first cousin, daughter of his Aunt Punch.)

On behalf of the VMI Class of 1972, please accept my condolences and deepest sympathies. In addition to being a loving father, son and companion, Drake was our Brother Rat; a bond that can never be equalled, or broken. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all - may God bless you -

John, Jo, Robert and Gayne I am so sorry for your loss. I know Drake will be missed by all of his family and friends. He was such a funny guy and we so enjoyed his visit when he came to Texas. Grandaddy Willie gave him the hardest time for trying to feed a hamburger to a cow. All Drake did was give him that big old grin. You and your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
