Grinder; brother of Michael Grinder and Lise Hogan; brother-in-law of Marley Van de Ven and William Hogan; uncle of Emily and Daniel Hogan. Sorry, I/we didn't know. Bill(y) was my hero as a little kid. I Googled his name and was shocked. The people who make an impression start early.

Janet and Family,
I was shocked as we all were for the news with Bill.Hate the thought of this happening to such a good man.He was an awsome mechanic,teacher,friend and was my mentor.He was kind enough to take me and alot of other people under his wing and just change there lives for the better with his great personality,strive and heart.Bill will be missed and thought of for the rest of our lives.Knowing Bill..he would not want any of us to be sad.

What a sad, sad time for the family and friends of Bill Grinder! It was such a pleasure to have watched him grow from a teenager to one of the finest men anyone could call son, brother, uncle or friend.
We will miss Bill more than we can say. He was like the son we never had. He was one of a kind and we send our heartfelt sympathy and loving condolences to Janet, Mike and Marley, Lise and Bill, and Emily and Daniel. We are all still in a state of shock and find words hard to come by. However, while we can't be with you since we are in Florida, we hope you know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
We pray for friends to comfort you, steadfast faith to uphold you and loving memories to see you through this difficult time!

I share the intense shock and sadness from the loss of Bill Grinder. To know Bill, was to love Bill. His heart was huge and constantly open to all -- even the smallest living creatures. I feel blessed that I had the privilege and pleasure of his friendship. Like everyone who knew him, I will sorely miss "our" Bill.

Janet & Mike, I am so shocked and saddened by Bill's pasing. After decades we had reconnected and were enjoying reliving the past. I will miss Bill's laugh. We were the best of friends during Jr. & Sr. High. I will mis him. My thoughts and prayers go out to you both.
