On Monday, March 25, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved father of Stephen (June) Van Ness; grandfather of Kate Van Ness. Even though he was challenged his whole life by cerebral palsy he was always cheerful and had a smile. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, March 28, 2013, 7 to 9 pm. Interment private.
