To the family of Dominic,
He was a truly great person. The greatest friend that anyone could ask for. He would put others in front of him and expect nothing in return. He will be greatly missed. He will always be in our hearts. I love you and miss you Dom!! Thank you for all that you've done for me and this country.

I remember we were both looking forward to coming back to michigan to get a few drinks after deployment. I miss you buddy.

We thank Dominic for his service to our country. He is still remembered and honored.

Dear Ciaramitaro Family, We lost our son in Iraq in 2007. Our thoughts are with you at this horrible time. Your son is a hero to us and to many, many Americans across the country. When you are ready there is a wonderful organization called "TAPS" that can help in many ways. (www.taps.org) We wish we could give you words of wisdom to get through this but we can't . . . it helped us to think that our son would have wanted us to live and be as happy as we could and to keep his memory alive.

I wish I had the right words to say at this time, but I know there are none. I grieve for the loss of your beloved son and I know that I cannot fathom the pain you must be feeling. Your son will not be forgotten and what he did to help protect our homeland and our freedoms. It was his life that made him a Hero. It was his noble path that made him an American Hero. It was his ultimate sacrifice that made him a Fallen Hero. May God carry him to Heaven on His precious wings and give him a palace to live in. I pray that our Heavenly Father above will grace you with His love, His comfort and His peace. Heaven's Gates now has a new handsome Marine standing guard. Amen.

My Grandma Damore from Saginaw had a sister Elizabeth who married a Ciaramaro in the early 1900s and moved to the Grosse Point area. So we are likely distant relatives. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
