John Diffenbaugh Obituary
On Saturday, July 9, 2005 of Alexandria, VA. Loving father of Claudia Ann Diffenbaugh; loving companion of Zulma Molina; son of Shelba Ann Bossom and the late Dr. Donald Louis Diffenbaugh. He is also survived by a sister, DeLee Ann Yaukey. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at EVERLY COMMUNITY FUNERAL CARE, 6161 Leesburg Pk., Falls Church, VA. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Firefighters' Fund of Fairfax, PO Box 401, Fairfax, VA 22030-0401.

Dad,
This guest book is years old, but..
What can I say, I miss you more then ever. Life without you isn't the same. I just wish you were here, with me and mom. I can't help but to cry typing this, just know I'm sorry if I gave you a hard time, and if I was a brat , and if I was a spoiled one, I would take it all back, I love you. You don't realize what you have until it's gone. Theres not a day that goes by when i dont think about you, kids at school always ask "wheres your dad" and .. I choke up. Everytime the subject or your name comes up, i try to remain strong, but its impossible. You brightened my world more then anyone else. C.A.D 2012

I apologize for signing the guest book so late but I just found out about John's passing. I am in total shock. John was a very special person in my life years ago. I will cherish his memory. My condolences to his daughter, mother and sister.

You and I had grown so close these last years. I was looking forward to sharing your life and making more memories as brother and sister. I know you suffered after dad died. I thought with lots of encouragement and constantly talking with one another you would work through the pain.
After you died it rained so much I thought the heavens were weeping with your family.
I love you and will cherish the moments we shared.

John,
It is so hard to believe that you're gone. We were just talking about you last weekend. Your goofy ways when we were teenagers, forever wearing the baseball cap so we joked you'd be bald. The day you showed my Mom your rash in the middle of the store and asked what she thought, your kindness when Tim was your roommate....all the fun we had.It seems so long ago now.
Our deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers go out to your daughter, the rest of your family, and all of your friends. You will be missed.

My deepest sympathy for John's daughter and family. I was shocked to hear of the tragic loss.
I have fond memories of working with him at Chinquapin. I remember him teaching Claudia how to swim, how he loved to teach her.
He will always be part of our Chinquapin family.
