My condolences to the family. It was heart breaking to hear a fellow high school graduate has passed on so heroically at such a young age. Brandon was my first ever real date. The 8th grade spring dance! I had had a crush on him for months. How could a young girl not swoon over his baby blues? It was a special memory from my young past. I will forever look back on that and remember him fondly.

My brother and I went to school with the entire Sparrow family. I was in band with Brandon at Macomb High and he ran cross country with my brother. He always was the man with a smile, a helpful hand, and the drive to succeed. I am deeply saddened for your loss and honored to have known him. I always knew he was destined for greatness. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. RIP a wonderful human being.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Brandon and I were in the Macomb Bomber Band together. As a fellow trumpet, one memory stands out: the trumpet group wore hats, I believe for the Halloween show, we wrote "pretty Brandon" on his and he wore it proudly:) He will be dearly missed by many, he was a beautiful person. Sending my thoughts and prayers from my family to yours.

I am that I had a chance to know Brandon. He was always willing to help out. I was just talking with my son at lunch about when Brandon helped him cut out his pinewood derby car up at his shop a few years back. Brandon was a stand up guy and he gave up his life the way he lived, with class.
