Father Red is still in our hearts. There isn't a day that goes by that I do not think of him. 6 years is approaching so quickly, it seems like yesterday was the last time we saw him. I just wish everyone that knew and loved Father Red had more closure... Help us out on the field this season, Saints need you for another Super Bowl win!! Love you Father Red<3

I recently did a documentary of Father Red and it was showed after the Memorial Mass for Father Red which was held at Ressurection of Our Lord Church on 8/21/10. The life of Father Arthur "Red" Ginart is truly an amazing story. If you are interesting in getting a copy of this DVD which is about 70 minutes long, please contact me via email tutwinn@yahoo.com.

I had not seen Art in almost 40 years, since we were schoolmates at Notre Dame Seminary. I fondly remember when he, Rudy Schmidt, Andre Constantin, and Crosby Kern--New Orleans seminarians all--would take a few of us non-New Orleans guys with them to the German-American beer hall near downtown for rousing nights of music and good cheer. Art will be missed.
