Johannah Tobin Obituary
Johannah K. Tobin of Phoenix, AZ: Formerly of East Rochester, NY and Penfield, NY, passed away peacefully on December 27th, with her loving family at her side. She is survived by Robert, her loving husband of 50 years, sons Kevin and Tim, daughter Kelly as well as her beloved siblings Frank and Reita, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Hospice of the Valley Lund Home who gave her comfort during her final days. She will forever be cherished and loved by those whose lives she touched with her incredible compassion, grace and caring spirit. Her courage and strength will continue to be an inspiration to all who knew her. Her Funeral Service will be held January 22nd at 11:00am at Saint Benedict Catholic Church, 16223 S 48th St., Phoenix, AZ 85048. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to either AZ Blankets 4 Kids (azblankets4kids.com) or East Rochester Alumni Foundation (www.erschools.org/alumni.cfm).

My prayers go out to the family for their loss of such a special lady. I had the privilege to work with Jo in the mid 90's and she truly made an impact on me with her caring, compassionate approach. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to reconnect with her briefly last spring after 20 years and she touched me again with her spirit as she was battling. The world is a better place because Jo was in it.

My deepest condolences to the Tobin family. Jo always had a smile on her face and I always enjoyed our times together. I appreciate so much her generosity to my daughter Erin and family. Whenever I visited Az I felt her warmth and hospitality towards me and will always cherish my memories of her. She will be missed and never forgotten.
