I would like to express my deepest sympathy to your family. To lose a husband and friend brings much pain. May you seek and find comfort from the God of tender mercies.
Our hearts go out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
Mark coached me at Hobies Diving camp the summer of 1988. He was amazing to watch and had a contagious spirit. What a loss for us... love and prayers to all, Shannon (IL)
What a sad loss for Mark's family and for the world of sports. He had so much to teach everyone about determination, goals and sticking with a vision or a dream. His recent coaching talent was proving to be as promising as his own diving career. He was a diver of national note.
So very sorry for your lost I guess it was time.:(

Being 5'5" and having a similar body type, I quickly identified with Mark thinking "That's what I would look like if I were an Olympic diver!" I still have video tapes of his dives. I hadn't thought of Mark in a long time and then on April 1 out of the blue I felt led to do an internet search to see what happened to him. I was sad to learn he was in the hospital and began praying for Mark and his family and I would check the internet every day or two to see if there was updated news. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and my prayers go out to his family.
Dear Ellie, We worked together at Stafford High School, and I remember Mark well. I was so sorry to hear about his passing. My condolences to you and your family, it is a great loss. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Bonnie Jackson
