Elida Vallejo Obituary

Elida "Linda" Vallejo, 70, passed away Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015. Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Rosary: 6 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet. Elida was born Jan. 2, 1945, in Taylor to Teofilo and Maria Vallejo. She worked at Daggett Middle School for over 20 years. Survivors: Sisters, Ines Solis and Lupe Favila; brothers, Gilbert and Francisco Vallejo; sisters-in-law, Virginia Vallejo and Lupe Vallejo; and a number of nieces and nephews.

I just found out about her passing this evening.. I worked with her at Daggett Middle from 99-2004 she was a lot of fun to be around..beautiful smile and lots of quick witted humor..Ms. Vallejo will be missed..My Condolences to the family.,Camille Dancer-Johnson

Linda, may you rest in peace. Nothing can hurt you now and I know you are up there enjoying your Mom. You had a hard shell but you were soft on the inside. I know because I watched you mentor your niece's and nephew's and you always had their best interest at heart whether they knew it or not. You also nurtured countless students at Daggett MS who will remember your kindnesses.
