HAMPTON - Cora A. Williams quietly departed this life on the morning of Thursday, December 4, 2014, having given the best of her service to her family, her community, and her Lord. She was a devout Christian woman who will be remembered for her kindness to everyone and her strong pride in her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jasper Williams and her son, Elester Eugene Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Marylene Middlebrooks (Reverend Walter E. Middlebrooks), Dr. Annie Williams, Angela Williams, and Evangelyn Williams; three sons, Jasper Williams, Jr. (Jennifer), Robert Williams (Nan), and Dennis Williams (Diane); seven grandsons, Romain Williams (Sherri), Robert Williams, Jr., Justin Middlebrooks, Derek Williams, Konrad Miles, Jason Williams, and Christian Williams; three granddaughters, Alicia Williams, Alexis Miles, and Dr. Lauren Williams; one great grandson, Brandon Williams; one great granddaughter, Dasia Williams; a host of friends and family. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2014 at Queen Street Baptist Church, 413 Brambleton Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23510. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens, Hampton. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. O.H. Smith & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
