GREEN, Eugene Lee, Sr. Eugene Lee Green, Sr., age 85, of Rockwall, TX, since 2000, went home to the Lord on November 22, 2016. Born January 3, 1931, in Fort Worth, TX, to Homer Lee Green and Leila (Adair) Green, Eugene served his country as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Air Force and later became president and CEO of Wilson Engraving Company. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A faithful Christian man, Eugene greatly loved the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockwall. He loved people and was very giving and helpful. Strong and outgoing, Eugene was both creative and innovative in his life, business and his ranch, Green Acres, in Rockwall. He was also chairman of the deacons at First Baptist Church Dallas before moving to Rockwall. He was a leader in everything he did. Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 64 years: Doris Green of Rockwall, TX; sons: Eugene Green, Jr., and wife Cleadie of Fate, TX, Doug Green and wife Kirsty of Dallas, TX, Kyle Green and wife Sue of Rockwall, TX, Kelly Green and wife Helen of Richardson, TX, and daughter, Jennifer Millet and husband Jon of Rowlett, TX; grandchildren: Raychel Sneed, Ben Green, Amanda Childers, Sam Green, Emily Canada, Craig Green, Rory Green, Grace Green, Max Millet, Marshall Millet, Mikayla Millet and Marie Millet; great grandchildren: Baylor and Piper; and sister: Betty Thompson and husband Bob. He was preceded in death by his parents: Homer and Leila Green. Memorial services will be held 11:00am Saturday, November 26, 2016, at First Baptist Church, 610 S. Goliad St., Rockwall with Pastor Steve Swofford officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening at Rest Haven Funeral Home - Rockwall Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Extending our sympathy to all of the Green family at this time of sadness and remembrance. Eugene was a kind and Godly man. I was lucky to have worked for him and honored to be a customer of Wilson Engraving for many years.
He was always generous and fair.
