Marguerite "Margo" (Morin) Laliberté, 84 years old, of Meriden, wife of the late Charles Laliberté, died on Friday, April 22, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Canada on August 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Cleophas and Bertha (Chenard) Morin. She had resided in Meriden since 1957. Time with her family was most precious for Margo. She loved to cook, bake, and garden, and her flowers were shared by all. She was employed by JC Penney's and she also ran a successful business out of her home as a seamstress for most of her life. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Laurent Church. Margo is survived by her six children: Carole McFadzen and her husband Keith, of Meriden, Chantal Laliberté, of Meriden, Andre Laliberté and his wife Valerie, of Durham, Rene Laliberté and his wife Melissa, of Wallingford, Michele Laliberté, of Meriden, and Marcele Massucci and her husband Dan, of Cheshire; four grandchildren: Jessica and Daniel Massucci, and Emily and Corinne Laliberté. She also leaves behind Ollie Michaud, whom she treated as a son in her heart; and her siblings: Robert, Fernande, Guy, Mariette, and Andre, all of Canada; many beloved nieces and nephews, as well as many dear friends, especially Sabina and Carmelo Papallo. She was predeceased by her sisters, Gertrude and Lucille; and other nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 10:30am at St. Laurent Church, 121 Camp Street, Meriden. Everyone is asked to gather directly at the church. Burial will be in St. Laurent Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St, Meriden, on Friday, April 29, from 5 to 8pm. My very deepest condolences on the passing of your Mom. She brought so much happiness to me during some difficult years in my life. She made beautiful clothes and during those visits we had a lot of laughs. She was a beautiful human being a joyful soul. Know that you are all in my prayers.
