Rest in Peace George, tell my mother "Hello" we grew up listening to yr music & my kids have to. My brother took our mother to see you in concert here in Oklahoma. She got to meet you and she got yr autograph. She was in shock so bad my brother had to carry her up & down fliet of stairs because she had been sick, when they came to your concert. You made her day. She always talked about that night. She grew uo in your days when you 1st started. She told us 7 kids she seen you before in concert back in her younger years. O but boy she & us just love your music so much. I was very sadden to here the news. We gonna miss you & love you. I'm sending Prayers to your family, may God put his arms around them and heal them at this time. Amen

My husband and I offer our sincere condolences. Our first dance as husband and wife was to my most favorite song in the world, "Walk Through This World With Me" When George Jones sang that song and I danced with my new husband, I felt all was right with the world..I was pretty sure I was on top of it :) It is going to be so sad to hear that song (all his music) and think of George Jones not being with us anymore...The song and George will both hold special memories for me and David, my spouse. Peace and comfort to you, Nancy and family and thank you for sharing with us fans the man with the beautiful voice!! He will always be here with us because he left behind the most awesome country songs ever!! May God Bless you Nancy Jones as you have been a blessing to George and to us fans!! Love and Hugs ~ David and Debbie Markwardt

I want to Thank You, Nancy for letting Georges' fans come to his funeral service, that was so, so kind.
In my heart, George was the greatest country singer of all times, I will miss him. At one of his many concerts I attended, I hollered up to him on stage, " Hey George" he heard my voice, and looked me right in the eye, and held that look for a few seconds, as though he was letting me know, he acknowledged me, my heart did a flip.
I loved George Jones and his wonderful mannerism, he "cared" about his fans, and seemed so "down to earth". His music will always be remembered in my heart forever, along with many, many other fans. Thank you, George for being yourself, for your wonderful music and for the love from you, for your fans. Your memory will live on forever.
May you be embraced with our Father and rest in peace.
