Claude Dean "Bill" Buice , 86, died January 4, 2017.
Mr. Buice retired from General Motors after thirty years and worked for Athens Stonecasting for over sixteen years. He was a member of Lighthouse Church of God and was preceded in death by his first wife, Sara Still Buice and a son, Kenny Buice of Auburn. He was one of thirteen children.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Anderson Buice; seven children, Larry Buice of Buford, Randy Buice, Tim Buice, Mac Buice, all of Athens, Jack Buice of Nicholson, Scott Buice of Hull and Lee Elliott of Wilmington, NC; brother, Leon Buice of Gainesville; twenty-seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

I am so sorry for your lost. The family will be in my prayers. All the Buice boys mean a lot to me. I watched them grow up. Bill was a wonderful man . Never had anything bad to say about anyone. He will be missed greatly. If the family needs anything at all, don't hesitate to call. 678-794-2133.
