On February 1, 2015 I was very fortunate to sit beside Alvin at the counter of the Capitol Diner. We had an amazing conversation about his life and military service in WWII. I feel very honored to have met him and shared in his memories. I can still remember his smile and wonderful personality. For the brief time that we spoke I can honestly say he made an impact on me to the point where I still remember his name a year later. I searched his name to see how I could possibly reconnect with him to see how he's been when I found his obituary. I'm so very happy he had a full and remarkable life full of family and friends. Good Bless you, sir!I

Roy, Your parents were very nice people coming into our garage. We enjoyed hearing your Dad's stories & them going to Shady Maples. I remember when your mom brought us a cheese cake! Enjoy the memories. They were both good people. Our hearts & prayers go to you & your family. Everyone appreciates your Dad being a Veteran.
