Brodin, Mona A. 85, longtime Northbrook resident, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, August 15, 2014. Mona was born in Goteborg, Sweden and immigrated to the United States in 1952. Wife of the late Stig Brodin; beloved mother of Christer (Jeanne) Brodin, Pia Marie (Herb) Blum and Glenn (the late Adrienne) Brodin; grandmother of Max Brodin; great-grandmother of Milani Gabriel; companion of the late Anders Johansson. Mona will be missed by her faithful dog, Phoebe. Services were held. Arrangements by N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 847-998-1020.
