MARILYNN J. BUTLER, 64 LOVES PARK - Marilynn J. Butler, 64, of Loves Park, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, in University of Wisconsin Madison Hospital. Born April 23, 1950, in Rockford, the daughter of Emile and Ursula (Kirchner) Fiori. Marilynn was a mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office for 40 years. She was a member of the Verdi Club, and she enjoyed Bingo and gambling. She is survived by her son, Robert (Nycole) Butler of Beloit, Wis.; grandchildren, Chance, Cardell, Nico, Paige, and Ashton; sisters, Marie Donelli and Barb Wellman; brother, John Fiori; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents. The family would like to thank all of Marilynn's friends at the post office and Bingo, with special thanks to Brenda, Joanne, Pat, Corinne, Liz, Cathy, and Linda for their friendship. Funeral service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014, in Olson Funeral & Cremation Services, Ltd., Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., with Linda Pirrello officiating. Visitation from 3 to 4:45 p.m. prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 222 S. YES I met Marilyn many years ago at bingo we became fast friends she always made us laugh was generous to a fault. I still have gifts from her I can't give up like a blown glass angel!!! I love way she loved her family and friends. miss you.

Robert, your mom was one of the most real people I've ever met...what you saw was what you got...she loved you so much and was so proud to be your mom and you gave her Chance who she loved so much...cherish and remember all the great times you had with her...

Robert, I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Marilyn was a real person. Enjoyed working with her, and going on those casino trips on the bus with the group, and my husband the bus driver. My prayers are with you all.

I so enjoyed the humor. She was so fun. I worked at the PO with her until 1978 when I retired to go to nurse training and then moved to Omaha, NE. She had some grandchildren that will surely miss her.you all will. My thoughts are with you as you say goodbye.
