Dear Gordie, David, Yvonne and Nicole,
Forgive the delay in extending my heartfelt condolences at the loss of your and our beloved Kitty.
She was the heartbeat, certainly of your family, but also of ours when my Mom was in decline. She was full of love, warmth, generosity, fun, concern for others and I truly loved her self-deprecating humor.
I treasure the times that she insisted that we come to the house, because she was going to “cook.” Cook in Kitty-speak meant the unending feast of food, love and sharing good memories!
She was, (in the very nicest way) a character of the first magnitude, and it was an honor to have her as part of my family.
Thanks for that Gord, you chose well.
For me, and for all that knew and loved her, she's irreplaceable. But Kitty lives snug and warm in my heart. I see that grin of hers and the bit of mischief in her eyes….and hear her telling me about her latest adventure or of Daisy's accomplishments.
She is, quite literally, an indelible part of me.
I send you Big Love and a Shamrock…..

Gordon,David,Nicole and Yvonne,
My condolences are with you at this very sad time. This was my mom too. I have lost both mothers now and words cannot even express how one feels and I know that from my personal losses. I am so glad I got to visit her at Christmas and she called me a couple times after that. All the trips to McDonalds, Angle Lake, Cleaning the house and not sitting on the beds, recycling cans,Hiding in the attic, tent campovers in the summer are just to name a few. Food....How I remember the food and clothing mom always bought. I think David explained it all and hit the spot in his speech. Landscaping loved to landscape for your mom she always wanted things perfect. Your family was my family and it truly was. Mothers are the ones that hold everyone together through thick and thin. Your mom enjoyed life...Your mom enjoyed Dad. Oh ya he was always working to support what he believed in most and that was family. Gordon come visit us in North Dakota! She will never be forgotten and things will be hard through the Holidays and years to come. But just think...Mom is at peace and has no worries and is not suffering. She visited me the other night and it was totally awesome! Another angel of mine coming to visit. Enjoy those nights and visits as much as you can. I love you guys.
