Josephine, Lissandrello of Teaneck, N.J., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014.
Friends and family are invited for visitation on Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck 07666. Funeral service is from the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, at 10 a.m., then to St. Anastasia's R.C. Church, 1095 Teaneck Rd., for an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Josephine was president of the Italian Club of Fox Hills in Rockaway, N.J.
Josephine was the beloved wife of the late Vincenzo; devoted mother of Maria of New York, John of New Jersey, and Nunzio of North Carolina; dear sister of John Schinina of Florida; loving grandmother of Luca, Bianca, Daniela, Vincent, Elora, and Christopher.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Josephine's name can be made to the Rockaway Food Closet, c/o First Presbyterian Church, 35 Church St., Rockaway, N.J. 07866.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I met Josephine through Hetty. I was very fond of her. She was such a lovely, kind, caring, generous person and a fabulous cook. May you find strength in all your wonderful memories.
