Arthur Manuel Obituary
Arthur Manuel, 37, a sales associate at Walmart passed Sat. Nov. 1 in Gainesville. Funeral service will be 11AM Sat. Nov. 8 at Mt. Zion AME Church, with burial at the church cemetery, both in Havana. Viewing will be (1) hour prior to the service Saturday at the church ONLY!!. He is survived by his wife: Maayakeya Manuel; children: Shaquinta Manuel, Dontrell Gay; father: Randy Manuel(Christine); mother: Essie Banks (Gregory); step father: David Banks; siblings: Martel Banks, Ronda Allison (Navell); SeyCynthia Manuel, TiaChiquita Manuel, Antwan Manuel; and a host of other relatives & friends. I still can not believe you are gone.. my heart breaks for your wife Maayakeya and your beautiful children. You were a man of honor and love, a man that was always there for those who needed a friend. I loved working beside you and learning what I didn't know from you. The Havana Northside High School Class of 1997 would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of our classmate Arthur Manuel. The measure of a man is not how did he die, but how he did live, not what he did gain but what he did give. Arthur lived his life with no respect of person and gave our class special memories full of smiles and love. A link has once again been removed from our class chain and for that we will be forever sorrowful but we rejoice in knowing that we can one day link up again.
