Together again forever

So sorry for the loss of your mother (thank you for posting the news on her facebook page, I would not have known otherwise). Our parents had a special bond of friendship that began in the early 1950's in Spokane. Do you remember any time in a very small cabin at Twin Lakes in North Idaho? Scott and my sister Bobbi were very little. Then your family came from Illinois to Telluride, Colorado to meet up with our family from Spokane. Your folks just had to see Telluride (before it was much of anything) because my Dad, who was from there always talked about it. I remember all of us visiting at your folks home in Northern California when we went down to the bay area and visited Stanford. One final memory that I have is when your folks drove their motor home out to my folks lake home on Coeur d Alene Lake. I am sure that they are all re-living their many memories. May God give all of you His peace particularly this Mother's Day.

So sorry for the loss of the wonderful mom. Your dad and my parents were waiting in heaven to welcome her home! Your parents were terrific friends of my parents. I am so thankful of their friendship. I do remember the trip to Telluride with both of our famililes and after seeing my grandparents cabin at Trout Lake (which my cousins own) I have to wonder how we all slept in that place. I'm sure you have wonderful memories of your mother. My prayers are with you as Mother's Day approaches.

Scott, Terry, Tom, Eric and familie

Our condolences on the loss of your mom. My mom is now the last sibling of six? Coady kids. They all lived long and great lives. I enjoyed meeting your mom and dad on a trip to Texas about 50 years ago and still remember your parents pointing out a Sears sign with the "S" burned out. Your dad said, "Hey, there is the ears store". Your mom and I both thought that was pretty funny. Glad she is with Buck once again. Thought you might like this pool picture circa 1960's when they visited us.

My mom is already missing her last sister. Rest in peace aunt Dorothy.

To Scott and the Trantina Family: My Condolences on the passing of Your Mom. She was a Dear, Fun and Feisty Lady and I fondly remember her Love of Bridge and Texas Hold'em. Now she is living Happily Ever After with her Beloved Buck.

Scott, Terry, Tom, Eric and families,

Gary and I send our heartfelt condolences to you on the death of your beloved mother, Dot. She and your Dad, Buck were our wonderful neighbors for over 20 years on Corte Paulina. Both of them befriended us when we moved from CT to CA in 1985. We shared many lunches and dinners with them over the years. She, Verona Stone and I would lunch once a month to keep in touch. Dot was an inspiration to me, also a former teacher. I have missed her wisdom and smile.

Rest in Peace in His loving arms, Dear Dot.

Dot Trantina was my principal in Danville for 6 years. Dot was a very efficient and capable principal. She was admired by her teachers and students.
