To the family of MY M/Sgt from back in 1966; this man made me the man I am today. I live in WA state but spend winters in San Diego; recognized my old M/Sgt immediately. Sincere condolences to the family. Larry Robert Murphy, Sequim, WA

Ed was always so kind to my children at the beach or camping or school functions. It was a pleasure to know him. He will be missed.

I'm saddened to learn of Ed's passing. I worked with Ed for many years at the periodical distributor. In fact, I believe I started just a couple of months after Ed.

Ed was a good man and a fine colleague - always a pleasure to be around. We used to participate in fantasy baseball and football leagues - long before they were popular.

My condolences to the family.

It was my honor and pleasure to have known Ed. He loved what was important in Life, His Family, His Country, The Marines, The Padres, Fishing, Cribbage an a cold beer. From one old soldier to another..

So sorry to hear about Ed. When you spend a lot of time in a boat with someone you get to know them quite well. Ed was truly a great guy and a better friend. I'll miss him, but never forget all the good times we had together. God bless, Ron Humphries
