God Bless, Robert Lowry Gardiner 2nd
November 30, 2013
So close, but oh so far... My relative, Sean Mathews, just made me aware of Jessie's passing. For so long he has been trying to find our California relatives and I am so sad to read she has moved on! I live in Oregon and I most surely would have visited her. She would have been thrilled to see what Sean has made of our Family Tree. I am the daughter of Malcolm Lowry Gardiner (1922-2009), and he was a first cousin to Sean's mother. Jessie sounds to be a lovely person, who had a full life, and at 100, with no direct relatives, there are still those who honor her presence - that says something. Many blessings to you Jessie and I am sure your heart will be warmed and full of love by all those who greet you at your family reunion!

I am descendant of the Gardiners of Auchtermuchty and my mother was a cousin of Jessie. We knew about Helen and and had some limited contact in the late 1990s. We are very sorry to hear this news. We shared the same great-grandparent (Henry Gardiner 1842-1913). We love to get in contact with any surviving relatives and find a way of sending our condolences for her funeral. If you can help us contact them please email me at mags@dircon.co.uk
