Mrs Desjardin and family. LCDR Desjardin was my OinC in Saigon in 1970. He was the kind of leader that I have used as a benchmark of my abilites as a leader. He was a great man and you have my sincere sympathy at your loss.

I would like to extend my condolences to you and your family. Dave May and I were Jack's roommates at Holy Cross for 2-3 years. I am sorry to say that Dave and I were the boisterous, party goers in the room, while Jack was the quiet, conscientious, studious roommate in the corner of the room. He was dedicated to his studies and the NROTC, and he loved the idea of going into the Navy. Mary all I can say is I wish I had been more like Jack.

I would appreciate a picture of Jack with your family, and I invite you to see mine on my Facebook. If you care to locate my Facebook, please search Larry A. Sancilio, in Virginia Beach, VA.

Mrs. DesJardin,

My condolences on Jack's passing. He was my MBA capstone advisor in 2005 and I learned a great deal about attention to detail from him. These are skills I employ every day as a project manager and since 2008, an adjunct instructor at NU.

You may remember me as the guy who chatted with you while you sat in your Z car on those Fridays at MCRD. Take care.
