Dearest Lesa,
Our heartfelt condolences are with you and your entire family. You have all been in our prayers. I will always remember your dad as on of the cheeriest men I have ever met. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a warm smile upon his face.

We wish to sincerely send our condolences on the loss of Hoot. We often enjoyed get togethers with Hoot and Norma. We will miss him. Love, Bill and Jean Runner

I had a dream the night Hoot died. I saw him sitting and waiting on a bench in a park near the sea. I saw his brother, my father, walk up to him. They embraced as brothers do, joyous in their reunion. As they turned to walk up the path together, they both turned back to look at me. Hoot said, "now we BOTH got our eyes on ya, kid!", and they walked off together.

William Thor Conner, loving nephew.
