Many Condolences Mrs Duffy and family. RIP Mr Duffy - I will always remember trying to figure out what a computer was as a kid, until I played your son Dan in Chess. I found out quickly the DNA didn't fall far from the tree, and the comment about dry sense of humor is spot on, but more than anything I will always remember a kind person with an infectious laugh, and living next door I was very familiar with the laugh and the good times we always had during the holidays in particular. And we should all remember what a computer was back in those days....... Computer pioneers are the equivalent of walking the John Muir trail, or landing on the moon - hard to imagine being the first!

October 12, 2013 Three of the greatest things happened to me in 1985. I met my husband Franco, rented a house on Burgener Blvd., and got the best next-door neighbors possible - the Duffy family. I immediately fell in love with Jack and Dorris and they became my second set of parents. Like Jack, my father had been a pilot in WWII. My mother and I flew on many Flying Tiger transports as we moved overseas to the far east and traveled in that area. Jack and I loved to sit and reminisce about these times, his from an adults viewpoint and mine from as a 10 year old child. I feel honored and privileged to have had Jack as a friend for 28 years. He was truly a great man and I am a better person for having known him.
