Ah, Mary Margaret - how appropriate a name for such a spunky, fuller-than-life gal with a never ending twinkle in her eye! I only knew Mary for five short years but what a marvelous inspiration! One so seldom is blessed in knowing a person who, just by her presence, makes you feel that there are genuine good people in this world. Mary had such a love for life, her children and definitely her life partner and dear husband (one and the same may I add :) - and let's not forget the many people she met everyday of her life! Upon meeting a new person, she immediately drew you in - wanting to know about you. She was genuinely interested and you knew it. She was delightfully funny, a joy to be around and you always knew you were in for a good time when Mary was there! And if I hadn't loved her so much, I would have been terribly jealous of her beauty, her tiny little figure, her super intelligence, not to mention a killer wit and her endearing charms.Oh, and did I mention, there was not a mean bone in her body! God bestowed on each of us a very rare and precious gift when he brought Mary Margaret (Bradshaw) Wheeler to earth. My faith and that of my husband, gives us comfort in knowing that we will see Mary again. In the meantime, we take comfort in knowing that God has his hand on all of us who are mourning Mary's absence in our lives. Our hearts and sincerest prayers are with you Pete and children. There is not a day that goes by that I and my little team of prayer warriors are holding you in our prayers for comfort and God's shelter from your pain. We also thank God for the blessing of Mary. She was here but for a short time but what an impact she had on the lives of everyone she touched. Mary Margaret, you give em' heck up there and hold a place for the rest of us poor sinners! We will never forget you darlin" and look forward to seeing you again in God's beautiful home. With much love,

Pete, Mary's "Celebration of Life" last Saturday was a beautiful and moving tribute and one that I will never forget. Nor will I ever forget Mary and her kindness to me, her "sisterly" advice she would give me from time to time, and her dazzling smile and sense of humor that would lift me up if I was down. I hope the fact that Mary was loved and respected by untold numbers of people gives you and the family some comfort. She touched my heart and I will be eternally grateful to her. With much love...

Peter, I keep Mary in my heart. She was such a beautiful light. I hold dear our last encounter as she made me laugh with tear-filled eyes as she bravely spoke of her cancer with great humor & sarcasm. She will remain for me dazzling, witty, wise...my friend always.
