Dear Christie, Debbie and Bobby,

I am so sorry to hear about your father passing. I spoke to him several times after your mother passed and he said he felt like a bird with its wing clipped. Half of him felt gone and lost. Now he is with her and happily dancing again. I will always remember my uncle for giving me my first job at Guthrie's in Fashion Valley. I have such good memories of that time. I also remember fondly the stays we had at your house. Your mother always made the best cinnamon toast! My mother was a health nut, so having sugar on our toast for breakfast was such a treat. Bob and I share in your loss and send our love. I will keep my wonderful Uncle Bob and sweet Aunt Donna in my heart forever. xoxo

Dear Christie, Debbie and Bobby,

I'm so sorry to hear about your father passing. I talked to him several times after your Mom passed and he said it was like being a bird and having a wing clipped. Half of himself felt gone. Now he is likely happy and dancing with her once again. I will miss my loving Uncle Bob. He was so kind to give me my first job at Guthrie's in Fashion Valley when I was just 15. I have great memories there. I will always remember fondly my stays at your house. Your mother's cinnamon toast was amazing. My mother was a health nut and we kids loved the treat of having sugar on our toast in the morning. I will keep my wonderful Uncle Bob and sweet Aunt Donna in my heart forever. Bob and I are sorry for your loss and send our love your way.
With all our love,
Carol and Bob Adams

I didn't know my uncle HAD died, and I was very sad when I did learn of his passing. I have only the best memories of "Uncle Bob" from my childhood...of his kindness and generosity.
My deepest condolensces, Bob, Christie, and Debbie.
Warmest regards,
Cyndi Guthrie Young

Dear Bob, Christie & Debbie - I knew them only as a child, but your mom and dad always ranked high on my short list of most wonderful people as I was growing up… as did each of you. Uncle Bob gave me my first summer job at age 14 - I was totally undeserving, but somehow qualified in his eyes. I remember magical Christmas Eves when my mom Elsa and I would come out to visit... and have often hoped that all has turned out well for each of you. I had no idea that your dad had such an illustrious past. I'm deeply sorry for you to lose him. But would like to assume he's off to better adventures now, unencumbered with the trappings of age. Love and good wishes to you all - know that my heart and thoughts are with you. - Bonnie (Guthrie) Rodgers bonnie@zelectricmotors.com
