Douglas Frederick Burchell January 9, 1936 - January 28, 2015 Born in Adelaide, South Australia on January 9 1936. Died in Vancouver on January 28, 2015 as the result of a tragic accident. Adored husband of Patricia for 57 years. Son of Thomas Fred Burchell and Ivy Burchell and brother of June Deen. A gentle, modest man who served Air Canada for 27 years. A service to celebrate Doug's life will be held Thursday February 5th at 2pm at Kearney Funeral Services, 450 West 2nd Ave, Vancouver. Doug's family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Vancouver General Hospital for their wonderful care.
