CARRIE DeLIA Obituary
Age 98, of McKees Rocks, passed on Thursday, July 17, 2014. She was born January 10, 1916, in Benwood, WV, a daughter of the late Guy and Concetta (Mazzella) Mazzella. She was a member of the Madonna Del Castello Church in Swissvale and was an excellent cook, baker, and mother. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Vincent DeLia; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by children, Anthony (Joanne) DeLia of Orlando, FL, Guy V. (Virginia) DeLia of North Versailles, and Adele Perry of Robinson; grandchildren, Jason (Victoria) DeLia, Matthew Perry, Anthony DeLia, Kristin (Michael) Mrdjenovich, James (Leandra) Perry, and Janeen (Donal) Connors; great-grandchildren, Alex, Jake, Dyllan, Haley, Mike, Josh, Madison, Joe, Mia, and Orianna. Friends and family will be received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the FORGIE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Madonna Del Castello Church, Swissvale. Interment to follow in the Braddock Catholic All Saints Cemetery, Braddock Hills.
