BLACKSTONE - Henry "Tim" Blakeney of 29 Federal St., Blackstone, MA., passed away on Monday, Dec. 7th. He was the loving husband of Dorothy Blakeney and father to two sons Timothy Blakeney of Woonsocket, RI and Thomas Blakeney of Fryeburg, ME. Along with 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He and his wife operated Oak Ledge Terrace, an adult assisted living home on Federal St. in Blackstone since 1980. He was the former owner of Tim's Power Equipment which was located on Main St. in Blackstone for many years. Tim was the first of his family born in the US.
He served on the USS Myles Fox from 1950 thru 1954. " My Dad loved helping people. Through the different businesses he owned, I watched him with his employees and business associates while growing up and I can tell you that they were all better men when they were around my Dad." He loved his God, his family, and his country and knew where he was going when the end came. He will be greatly missed and his solid character, gentile spirit and wise council will be a great loss to us all.
The family asks that in lieu of any gifts or flowers, donations be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.stjude.org/give.htmI Honoring Tim's wishes, there will be no viewing or wake. The family will hold a private memorial service and dinner. Kubaskafuneralhome.com

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that God's Son felt the pain and sorrow that death brings after the death of his friend Lazarus. He gave way to tears. John 11:35
Jesus wept. We weep along with you.
