I met Liz only once years ago at either an Open or a National. I knew Dennis through table tennis from our college days at Texas A&M during the 1959-61 era. What a smooth and consistent player he was. It was only through the eulogy posted on the USATT Insider about Liz that I learned of her, and subsequently, Dennis' passing.

What delightful (if I may use such a word at this occasion) and exuberant tributes to both by (I presume) their daughter.

It is indeed not only a personal loss but a great loss in the tt world.

In a way, it makes me more aware of my own mortality (Dennis and I were born in the same year.)

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Gresham family who was a wonderful part of the U.S. Table Tennis family. Liz and Dennis were great supporters of their daughter and our teammate, Toni and just have only great respect for them. Wishing you peace at this difficult time. Diana Gee
