Aunt Helen will always be in my memories of going out West. Meeting up with the "Out West cousins" was an adventure I had heard a lot about from my Mom, Margaret when growing up, and so I was excited to take this trip too! I remember meeting Helen and how she taught me the difference between Western side-saddle. and the English style I knew. I also recall how awed I was that she could navigate the expansive, dry, and rugged terrain with ease and familiarity. She had such a can-do and independent vibe to her. Whenever I see those reality TV stars on those "Survivor" shows where they send someone out to live in a rugged environment for a few weeks....well, I think...they have nothing on Helen! Sending all my love, prayers and hugs, to Helen's entire family out West.

My dear friend,
They say there is a reason, they say time will heal, but neither time nor reason will change the way I feel. I will miss you, and all the hard times you gave me. No-one knows how many times I have broken down and cried,I want to tell you something, so there won't be any doubt. You're so wonderful to think of, but so hard to be without. Love you girlfriend.

My profound sympathy to Laya and Ian, Marj,Dana Maureen, John and Danny. Helen was a wonderful girl and put up a valiant fight with this disease. I hope to see her on the other and tell her I love her.

Helen was a wonderful girl. And she put up a valiant fight with this disease. I hope to see her on the Other Side so I can tell her and tell her I love her. My profound sympathy to Laya and Ian, Marj, Dana, Maureen, John and Danny. Aunt Connie, Shea Copes
