Fern A. Herron, 83 passed away on November 24, 2016 at 2:43pm with her daughters by her side.
She is survived by her children, John Bergamo and wife, Bobbie, Bobbie Ray and husband, Mark, Nina Scurlock and ex-husband, Eddie; six grandchildren, Greg Bergamo, Adel Martinez, Dedra Stanley, Kevin Ray, Jay Scurlock and Kurtis Ray; four great-grandchildren, Skye Quast, Bailey and Trevor Martinez and Ezra Bergamo and one great-great-grandchild, August.
Fern was the 9th of ten children to Mark and Mary Norris. Fern is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Moore and Joann Menesee and brother, Nathan Norris.
Fern was a very loving mother, faithful wife and was a very giving person. She worked all her life until she retired as 63. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be truly missed.
Also we would like to give special thanks to Louise Maestas for all the special care, love and devotion she gave to mom. Without her love mom would not have been with us as long as she was.
Viewing at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 forllowed by funeral service at 2:00 pm at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE. Reception will follow after service. For more information go to
