Lee Cooke new what he was doing when he assigned Robert to be my mentor in the Asbury Choir. I had never sung before, and Robert's ringing baritone and devotion to the music kept me on track. A true servant who loved our Lord, his family, the music and girls' softball. A true gentle man.

Robert was such a special human being. When he lost his sight and had to give up the choir his heart was so sad. Mr. Firestone, also a member of the choir would bring him to hear the choral events. He asked me to sit with him and help him to sing by saying the next line while he was still singing the last line. He sang his heart out to God and it made me feel good I could help in this small way. Now he is Singing in God's choir and not needing help. Robert was always so king to my husband who was in failing health also but was still able to sing with the choir. Our loss..........Heaven's gain.
Never forgotten.
