I met Brian fresh out of college and working in the southern part of South Central Alaska, bringing telephone service to where it never existed before. He was the smiling version of my beloved poet Edgar Allan Poe, whose humor, wisdom and inspiration that will never be forgotten and always appreciated. I'm forever grateful to have reconnected to Brian almost 2 years ago, finding that the 30+ years apart revealed that our path's remained close and sometimes identical. Brian will be remembered fondly, always and my condolences to the Kincaid family, he has left his mark forever planted firmly in Alaska.
Alaska, Hatcher's Pass and Independence Mine may be different without Brian yet his gutsy spirit and sense of adventure live on in his descendants and memory. With much respect and honor, we may meet up again and it'll be as if no time had passed, many hugs and blessings <3 <3 <3

I remember a story Brian shared of being stuck on a mountain and how much his faith helped him through the toughest times. The last time we spoke he said he planned to climb as high as he could up the mountain and get some rest. Brian is now higher than any mountain top, in heaven getting that well deserved rest and peace. I will miss working with him, he was an amazing partner and friend. I will be praying for the Kincaid family, may God carry you through these tough times and may you find peace by chasing all of life's adventures with the same amount of energy and enthusiasm as Brian.

Brian was a fabulous person for whom I had great respect. I met Brian in 1979 when I had the privaledge of working with him on fibre optic cable systems in Alaska and the undersea cable to Portland. We have kept in touch over the years and my thoughts go out to all his family at this very sad time. I have lost a very great friend

Mike and I are so very sorry for your great loss. Losing our children is so devastating. My Rachel has only been gone to heaven for 3 months and I mourn her everyday. Ms. Jan, we love you and your entire family and are praying for you all. God hold you in His precious arms until we meet our loved ones again. I'm so sorry.

I think we all have spent the last week remembering Brian and the impact he had on our lives. To my family, he was a lifetime friend...we shared our childhood and that bond remained throughout our lives. So many memories!!! It is hard to imagine life without him in it. To Janet and the entire Kincaid family, we grieve with you. Brian, I will miss you always!!!

I was shocked to hear of Brian's passing this week. Even though I only worked with Brian, he was wonderful to work with. Prayers to Brian's family. He will be missed by all who knew him!
