My condolences to Linda, Kris and family.
Bruce loved his wife Linda and his family very much. He was also very proud of them. I met Bruce in 1995 at the Anchorage Flight Standards District Office. We worked together for many years and became good friends. Bruce was a joy to work with and for many years we would have lunch together sharing many life stories and strategized solutions to current events. We shared many laughs of his earlier memories of living in Alaska and working for Alaska Aeronautical Industries.

Bruce loved working as an Operations Inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration. He was a tribute to Flight Standards and carried a lot of knowledge of Alaska Aviation and was also a participant in making many things happen. As a Front Line Manager he shared his skills and experience working one on one witheach inspector that sought his guidance. He had great respect and trust in each of his employees.

I know that Bruce struggled with the thought of retirement from the FAA as it was a big part of his life. He looked forward to going to work and received a great deal of satisfaction working with everyone. Bruce retired from the FAA on September 31, two days before his passing. It was real difficult to have you leave but I know you are in a far better place.
Until we meet again friend.

He was my first love. I always thought I would see him again at least once more. We were never ment to be together but still I thought of him from time to time.

My condolences to all of his family and many true friends.

Bruce was a wonderful person (brother-in-law) and I enjoyed him being part of the Sorensen Family and at all our events. He was part of the duck dynasty with my brothers and we had many laughs. Thanks Linda and Kris for sharing him with us. My love goes out to both of you. He will be in my heart forever.

I remember Bruce as a very handsome young teenager at Wrangell Institute as a friend of my brothers, Levi and Jim. What an accomplished life he went on to lead! I am shocked at his passing and send my condolences to Wayne and extended family. Most sincerely, Nancy Hottinger-Dow

I will miss his early morning calls on Sunday and his endless list of stories he used to make us laugh. I miss the days in Wrangell when we were growing up. Those memories are as fresh today as the were 50 years ago. Farewell my long time friend. All of us who kept in touch these many years will miss you so much. Linda and Chris, our thoughts are with you.
