I can't believe it's been over five years since my dear freind and ex-husband has passed on.people always would say move on, your no longer married. Well when you have love, it doesn't leave like death does. But even in death his love is still with me.I loved him in life, and love him in death. Hope we will see each other on the othersde. I miss his voice. He was a good listerner. A great friend. I miss him like crazy and always will. God bless you and comfort you dear friend.

I met Bruce in the 70's through his brother Claude, and ex wife Robin. I'm glad to see he was so well thought of and made such a contribution to his Alaskan community. Fondly Remembered, Claudia Minion

I had no idea! I have known Bruce since 1980. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing.

I had the fortune of meeting Bruce in 2006, and I was always glad to spend time with him at various American Welding Society events. His passion to give back to the community (and in particular, to help students) should remain an inspiration to us all.

I first met Bruce in Vancouver in 1999. I enjoyed the privilege of his company at many AWS events and looked forward to seeing him on my first trip to Alaska. Alas, I was one day late. None the less, the times that I was with him were memorable. We truly lost one of the "good guys"!

I'm at a loss of words to express my sympathy with the families and friends of Bruce. I only knew him through passing as he'd drive by our house to get to his Wasilla shop, though every single time any of my family or I were outside, Bruce would always take the time and make the effort just to say hi and give a quick chat. We'd love seeing his truck drive by so that we could get a great heartfelt wave from him. I'm sad to hear of his passing but grateful to have gotten to know him in a small, but meaningful way. What a great guy.

Bruce was the best mentor one could ever hope to have had the privilge of learning from. He shared many laughs and smiles with his serious passion for work and great stories and positive energy. His work & contributions to the betterment of Alaska's industry will be appreciated and missed.

I cannot come up with the words that I want to say! only that I loved you deeply. knowing that I will never again, hear your giant voice saying "Hey Kid", feel you reach out to hold my hand, or receive a short note on a post-it attached to an article about the Alaska wildlife, breaks my heart.
I will forever feel your loss in my life. I loved you more than you will ever know! If I could have done anything to be there today I would have!
Forever your daughter!

I've had the privelege of knowing Bruce for over 30 years. A dedicated partner in the welding field he excelled in. He loved Frank's Diner here in Spokane and we always went there for breakfast when he visited and stayed in our home. His passing away so unxpectedly has influenced my life (I knew his hopes and dreams) as much as he did while living! So long bud! I will always remember.

Bruce was truly one of the "good guys". He was passionate about his work, always sharing his knowledge with anyone who asked and just as passionate about sharing that knowledge with the next generation. I will always remember his stories.
